Jump$tart Grants Program
The purpose of the Jump$tart Washington Grant Program is to fund projects that support Jump$tart’s mission: Jump$tart Washington promotes the development of personal finance skills of Washington residents, with emphasis on education for K-college youth.
The current focus of grant awards is Financial Literacy that impacts high needs populations and creates a best practice or tool that is replicable or scalable. This focus may change from time to time and will be reviewed by the Jump$tart Board each year. The Board has the discretion to allow funding of grant requests that do not fit into the current focus, as long as they support the mission of Jump$tart.
Application Deadline is June 30, 2016
Teacher Grants Program
Jump$tart Washington is pleased to offer annual grants to the Jump$tart National Educator Conference. This conference offers classroom educators an opportunity to see, learn about, and try educational resources to integrate immediately into current lesson plans; to attend informative workshops under two different strands—curriculum/content and personal growth; to meet with leaders from finance and education; and to network with colleagues from across the country.
These grants are available to first-time attendees only.
The scholarship covers registration for the conference, which also includes travel*, meals, hotel accommodations in a private room at the Intercontinental Hotel in Dallas, materials and full participation in the conference. Incidental and optional costs are the responsibility of the grant recipient.
*Note that grant recipients are reimbursed for air transportation to and from the conference and airport transfers to and from the conference hotel.
Application deadline is September 15, 2016.
